Stewardship

We believe that farmland preservation and land stewardship go hand in hand. We use no-till farming practices along with cover crops which reduce soil loss by as much as 90% over conventional tillage.

The picture at the left shows rye cover crop growing up through the old crop residue - forming a protective blanket over the soil.

At the right is a newly constructed waterway and terraces. We have installed many features like this - even on farms that we rent from others!
